Lily Fairbairn - The Zig Zag contributor

Currently based in Newcastle, Lily is in her final year at the University of Northumbria studying a BA in History and Politics. After completing a semester on the ERASMUS scheme at Charles University in Prague, Lily’s interest in the international sphere has grown and the study abroad programme helped her engage with different international perspectives.

After following the WiFP for just over a year, she became inspired to join the team after deciding she wanted to contribute more to the political sphere. 

Lily plans to do a master’s in international political communication, focusing on how the media is linked with security and global crises.
