Ramya Karuturi - LinkedIn Community Manager

Ramya Karuturi is a graduate student who is currently pursuing a double master’s degree in International Relations at the University of Warwick, UK and Strategic Studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. 

Having been born in the US and raised in India, Ramya has strong ties to both and aspires to work in a position where she is able to be a part of the strategic decision making that directs foreign policy within the India-US bilateral relationship. This is why the WiFP interview with Nirupama Rao is one of Ramya’s favourites, as the ambassador’s remarkable body of work in this particular field encourages her to pursue her own. 

Given her own experience with the value of what Women in Foreign Policy has to offer, Ramya joins the team with the goal of maximising its outreach among our LinkedIn community. In doing so, she hopes that other young women building their careers in foreign policy, and even those who may be uncertain and hesitant, are able to find their inspiration just like she did.
