Riza Kumar - Newsletter Coordinator

Riza Kumar is a native San Franciscan living in New York where she works in counterterrorism programming and national security. Through her writing and research, she is hoping to legitimize an intersectional feminist approach throughout the security sector.  

She enthusiastically joined WiFP as a way to increase opportunities in and awareness about the foreign policy field for women of color and other underrepresented groups.

Riza has a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA in Gender Studies and Political Science and Master of Arts from the University of Chicago in International Relations.
