Monalee Gibbs - Interviews Editor
/Monalee Gibbs is a dual degree MA candidate in Development Studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, and Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is motivated by her vision to be a bridge between people and development, shattering barriers of inequality. Holder of a BSc. in International Relations, Political Science and Spanish, she has been an Officer in the Jamaican Foreign Service for the past 12 years. Her role in the development of the National Diaspora Policy for Jamaica, and diplomatic postings to Cuba and Venezuela have enriched her perspectives and deepened her resolve to make an impact. In furtherance of her expertise in international affairs, she has participated in extensive training at the United Nations, the Diplomatic Academy of Chile and the Foreign Service Institute of India.
Monalee’s research interests include elites and inequality, democracy and governance, and peace and conflict resolution. When not engaged with work, she can be found pursuing voluntary and humanitarian efforts. At present, she is the Interviews Editor at Women in Foreign Policy.
