Isabelle is in her final undergraduate year at Boston College studying a B.A. in History. She has focused her degree around women in the Early Modern Era, and last semester, wrote an in-depth analysis about the writings of Renaissance humanist, Laura Cereta and her retelling of Ancient Roman narratives. To prepare for her Master's degree, Isabelle is currently taking a Graduate Colloquium course, Gender History and the Scholar, where she explores the gender scholarship from the 1980s to present day, and its connections to post structuralism and transnational history.

Isabelle grew up hearing stories about life in Hong Kong and the U.K. from her parents, and thus has always been fascinated by international affairs. After living in England during her study abroad year at Durham University, she grew her interest in foreign policy and was thrilled to join Women in Foreign Policy after moving back to the U.S. As a volunteer, she has taught and advised students in the Boston area for Boston College Music Outreach and the B.C. History Department Mentor Program. In her free time, Isabelle loves hiking with her dog and finding books to add to her never-ending To-Read list.
